HALO: DRAINED

HALO (Nixi), in trying to make her way out of the Panopticon arcology, finds herself instead in the toxic, lawless Wilds. Weakened and disoriented by the pathogenic atmosphere, she is easy prey for what is known as a “Tapper” — a supplier to the Elite’s unregulated trade, who use VR technology and aphrodisiac gasses to ‘tap’ a victim for virtual experiences until the combination of stimulation and exhaustion just become too much… At that point, the victim is considered drained, and no longer of value.
